Concretely, this difference in empty weight is barely noticeable once the bag is loaded (the useful load remains the same), but its longevity is significantly higher. If you plan very intensive use (second child in two years? several outings a day? frequent travel?), this is the most durable investment in the range. For very occasional use, prefer our ultra-light FLORES model (400 g).

Care advice. To preserve the waterproofing of the Oxford fabric and the vibrancy of the patterns in the long term, avoid machine washing. Prefer hand washing with a lightly damp sponge and a mild soap like Marseille soap, then air dry in the shade. For stubborn stains, act quickly with a damp cloth. The waterproof interior can be cleaned with a simple wipe. Advantage of robust construction: thanks to the thickness of the PADINGTON fabrics, this bag withstands repeated rubbing and intensive handling better than average without deforming. The printed patterns retain their sharpness for years of daily use.

This characteristic is intentional and linked to the quality of the materials (thicker Oxford fabrics, reinforced linings) which make it the most durable bag in the range. If you are particularly sensitive to weight (chronic back pain, difficult postpartum, frequent public transport during peak hours), consider our FLORES model (400 g, more than half lighter) which offers the same essential features. If durability takes precedence over empty weight, the PADINGTON remains an excellent choice. Hot liquid precautions: avoid placing scorching bottles (70°C+) in the insulated compartment immediately after preparation, as this could deform the internal insulation over time.
