Background
Sirt3 protein, a member of the sirtuin family, is primarily located in the mitochondria. It is an NAD-dependent deacetylase that plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes. Sirt3 can deacetylate numerous target proteins, thereby influencing metabolism, stress resistance and aging.
