Silica Rope PackingSilica packings are braided entirely using 6 continuous filament textured S TEX silica yarns rated up to 1000C in optimum conditions. The base fibres are inorganic, sterile, incombustible and they have low thermal conductivity making them excellent for high heat door sealing applications. Silica rope packings are available in three different constructions each with their own unique characteristics as explained below.
