You'll have the ability to rearrange the circuit, so that compression can come before or after the EQ.
Mic level, line level, and instrument level—all of it—will get the best level in British sound, thanks to quality componentry courtesy of Carnhill. Whether you want to give a bass part tons of color with the EQ, squash the daylights out of a room mic with the compressor, or link up two units for stereo processing anything on the mix as an insert, this unit will deliver the goods. The power supply is included, as is an IEC cord for use right out of the box.
A Preamp for Demanding Engineers
The BritStrip starts with the same preamp as the beloved Heritage 73JR, though it employs a new custom input transformer codesigned with Carnhill and exclusively made for Heritage in their St Ives factory. The preamp also offers a custom Carnhill St. Ives output transformer, which completes the all-discrete, Class-A, 3-gain stage design. What does this mean for the person who doesn't love to geek out over specs? An authentic 73 sound with 80 dB of gain, a 20 dB pad, polarity reversal for multimicing, and an impedance switch to accommodate all sorts of microphones.
Built-In Class-A DI
The DI is also taken from the highly acclaimed design found in the Heritage Audio 73JR, giving you an all-discrete Class-A JFET circuit in front of the microphone transformer. This provides color, density, and weight for your electric guitars and basses. The DI also includes a passive thru output to feed a separate amplifier, so you can take great sound from both this channel strip and your own amp setup.
An Expanded 73-Style EQ
The BritStrip's EQ offers 3 Vinkor pot core inductors in the mid band and high-pass filter sections. This allows for exceedingly musical high-level boosts and cuts. Sculpt your tone with the mid band, add polish with the highs, and fatten up the lows. No need to be subtle with these controls: BritStrip won't add phase distortion or lose headroom at extreme settings.

Vintage Diode Compression for the Modern Age
The diode bridge bus compressor needs little introduction, as it's been beloved throughout the ages of rock. The diode bridge offered here is the same compressor found in the multi-award-nominated Heritage Audio Successor. With BritStrip, this powerful compressor design can be used for tracking, thanks to it's blend control and elaborate sidechain filter.
The compressor section provides plenty of sidechain flexibility, with 5 frequency options and an external sidechain input. And if that weren't enough flexibility, 2 BritStrips can have their compressors linked for stereo tracing, or even line-level color in the mix stage.

Flexible Routing
The BritStrip allows for compression and equalizer routing. EQ'ing precompression makes the compression detector more sensitive to boosted frequencies and less sensitive to attenuated frequencies. Inversely, equalizing post compression makes the detector insensitive to the EQ settings.

Great toy for a very active chewer

My Pomsky who is 9 months has destroyed every toy we’ve gotten him so far and he LOVES this one. He took to it right from the box and hasn’t let it leave his side since. Durability

I have a lab puppy and she LOVES to chew and tear anything that she can up. I bought this being a little bit hesitant by some of the reviews but I will say she has not torn out the squeaker yet,. And it’s pretty loud too (it’s been almost two weeks) and the plastic is pretty durable. The only negative I have to say is the plastic does it sharp ( I’ve almost cut myself on it) but that doesn’t seem to affect her. So overall I’d say this is a great product if your dog needs something durable yet chewable.

A Huge Hit in My Bully Breed House!

I have a house full of bully breeds, and this hammerhead shark toy is by far one of their favorites.
I’ve actually bought a few of them so there are extras around the house — otherwise they’d all be fighting over the same one! That alone tells you how much they love it. The shape makes it easy for them to grab, chew, and toss around, and the squeaker keeps them interested without being obnoxiously loud.
What really impressed me is the durability. My dogs are serious chewers, and we’ve had these for a while now. They’re still going strong, which is saying a lot in this house. The combination of rubber and nylon seems to hold up really well to heavy chewing.
The bacon scent definitely helps keep their attention, and I like that I can add a little peanut butter for extra enrichment. It keeps them busy and off my furniture — always a win.
If you have strong chewers, especially bully breeds, this one is absolutely worth picking up. Durable, fun, and clearly dog-approved in this house.
