Gold Label Pig Oil & Sulphur — Protective Skin & Coat Treatment for Horses

🐴 Prevents Mud Fever • Guards Against Wet & Muddy Conditions • Conditions Mane & Tail

Gold Label Pig Oil & Sulphur is a traditional, highly effective preventative skin treatment designed to protect horses’ skin and coat from wet, muddy, and harsh conditions. The blend of light pig oil and flowers of sulphur forms a water-repellent barrier on the skin and hair, helping prevent mud fever, scurf, and sores, while also conditioning hair and reducing tangles in feathers.

Key Benefits

  • 🛡️ Creates a waterproof barrier on legs, feathers and skin to help prevent mud fever and irritation.

  • 🌧️ Ideal for wet, muddy winter conditions — keeps mud from penetrating to the skin.

  • 🐾 Conditions feathers, mane & tail, helping reduce tangles, dryness and breakage.

  • 🧼 Helps repel dirt and reduces scurf buildup when used regularly.

  • 👌 Great for heavy-feathered breeds (Cobs, Shires, Clydesdales, Haflingers) or horses prone to mud-related skin issues.

🧴 How to Use

  • Shake well before use.

  • Apply directly to clean, dry legs or feathers, massaging into the hair and down to the skin.

  • For prevention in muddy conditions, apply 1–2 times per week.

  • For heavy feathers, work oil through the hair to prevent matting and tangles.

  • Always patch-test before first use, especially on sensitive horses.

  • Avoid applying to broken skin unless advised by a professional.

📋 Applications

  • Mud fever prevention

  • Feather/leg protection in winter

  • Reducing tangles in feathers, mane and tail

  • Helping repel wet, mud, dirt and skin irritation

  • Year-round coat maintenance in wet climates

This is not good heat tape.
Number of Items: 2
I bought this for sublimation and t-shirt making and because you get a lot for a decent price. Well, just spend the money on the good golden tape because this stuff doesn't hold up like that. I had a few cups ruined because the tape released while in the oven. Not cool at all. I don't have a LLC to buy cups in bulk, so it wasn't 1 or 2 bucks this take ruined. So be aware that this tape is poop before using.

I recently purchased the MEBMIK 6 Rolls 20mm x 33m (108ft) Blue Heat Tape High Temperature Heat Resistant Tape for Heat Sublimation Press Vinyl, and I couldn't be more satisfied. This tape has truly exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features is that it doesn't leave any marks or residue behind, which is crucial for a clean, professional finish. It holds up well under high temperatures, making it perfect for heat sublimation and vinyl projects. The tape is durable and reliable, ensuring my projects come out looking great every time. Overall, I highly recommend this heat tape for anyone involved in heat transfer or sublimation projects. It's an excellent product that performs exactly as promised.

Works well and easy to use for sublimation
Number of Items: 6
I’ve been using this heat tape for a few different sublimation projects—mugs, shirts, and a couple of random DIY gifts. It holds up great under heat. No slipping, no weird residue left behind on my blanks, and it peels off cleanly every time. The stickiness is just right—not so strong that it’s a pain to remove, but strong enough to keep designs in place while pressing. I also like that you get several rolls in the pack, which makes it a great value for the price. It’s easy to work with and cuts cleanly, which is helpful when you’re lining up small designs. Overall, this has made my sublimation process a lot smoother.

Great for patch hat pressing, no discoloring or marking during transfer
Number of Items: 6
Bought to hold my leather patches down while pressing them to hats, and they work great. They have not left any residue or discoloring when pressing hats, even with white patches. Very happy with how these perform and would recommend to others who make patch hats.
