MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Very handsome and functional shelf with a ton of space!
I was looking for a black wall shelf to go above our coffee bar that included a bar with hanging hooks for empty glasses and a bar towel. This shelf met those needs, and I'm very impressed with it overall. It's a bit pricey for how simplistic it is, but it doesn’t feel or look cheap. Assembly and installation with the provided hardware was easy with help of a drill. The shelves are deep and work well for storage baskets and larger items. It’s a sharp-looking piece that really improved the look of our expanded coffee bar.
