Overview
Let's face it, you love driving your classic car, but dread the hassles with your Rochester 2GC carburetor. Today's fuels are blended for modern fuel injection, not that old 2Jet carburetor from 50+ years ago. Holley makes it easy to convert your classic car with a small bolt pattern, two-barrel, Rochester 2GC carb to fuel injection. The Sniper EFI 2GC Small Bore is a bolt on electronic fuel injection system that will put the fun back in your classic ride. The Rochester 2GC small bore carburetor was commonly used on 1955 - 1969 Chevrolet and Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac vehicles such as the Camaro, Electra, Super 88, Tempest and most C-10 through K3500 series trucks. Installation of the Sniper EFI 2GC Small Bore throttle body is simple and straightforward: ???? Remove your current carburetor and bolt on the new Sniper EFI system. No intake manifold adapters required! ???? Reinstall your factory or custom air cleaner. The Sniper EFI 2GC air cleaner flange matches the Rochester 2GC so it accepts most factory air cleaners. Not only does the Sniper EFI 2GC offer superior throttle response and WOT power over the carburetor, but you may also benefit from increased fuel economy! Put an end to cold start issues, hesitations, vapor lock, and flooding with the accuracy of EFI. You can also use the Sniper EFI 2GC to control the ignition timing, taking EFI to the next level. The Sniper EFI 2GC system is capable of supporting 350 HP on naturally aspirated engines. Upgrade to Sniper EFI today! I Was WRONG!!!
I ordered this because I wanted to try it out.
First, make sure that you have the correct filters available or you will get irritated too... It uses a V02 filter (the small triangular kind). Then after reading the instructions I realized how many steps are required to make a cup or two of coffee with this contraption... : ) I would really recommend making yourself familiar with this type coffee brewing PRIOR to making this your first cup of coffee in the morning! lol
I also didn't have a Gooseneck-style teapot (I did get by without it, but I can see where you will want that style of teapot to make the pouring process more precise!), but I improvised and used a regular teapot and it did work.
Keeping in mind, I had NO idea what a pour-over coffee pot involved to make a cup of coffee, hadn't had any caffiene yet and have been battling a virus for over a week now, up until I tried the coffee I was ready to complain about this coffee pot...
Then I tried the coffee...OH MY!!! This was one of the BEST cups of coffee I have ever had! I used old, bleached white coffee filters, some flavored, pre-ground Cameron's coffee (so not even a strong grind), and I couldn't shut up! This is one FABULOUS coffee maker!
I am SOLD on a pour-over style brewed coffee! If you have never tried one of these, please do! It makes a fabulous cup of coffee!

Just as described
Like I needed one more thing on my countertop! But it's coffee, so I'll make it work out. This is first product of it's type that I've used. I've seen it offered in coffee shops and thought that slower drip process must create a nice coffee. So, I've tried and I love it. Just follow the instructions, and get the filters at the same time or pick some up at your grocery store. If you're like me, you'll want to try it out right away.
I enjoy a dark roast and this really improved the flavor of my usual brand of coffee. The only thing that concerns me is the beaker is made of pretty thin glass. I'm wondering if thicker glass would also help to keep the brew hot as I make enough for two cups. Overall, I'm really happy to have found this.

Durable glass coffee container, nice to use
Previously, we were using an old metal coffee can to store our coffee. The problem is that because it was not transparent, we found ourselves frequently running out of coffee. Out of sight, out of mind.
This glass container lets us see how much coffee we have left, but the fact that the glass bottom didn't appear to be reinforced had concerned me somewhat, particularly because our kitchen counter is hard ceramic tile.
Well, it seems that these glass containers are made of borosilicate glass, which is a special glass made with boron that has superior strength and durability. Apparently, borosilicate glass is made at a higher temperature, and slowly cooled to room temperature in a process called annealing. Annealing involves controlled cooling to relieve internal stresses and improve the strength and durability of the glassware. Still, I wish that the base of the glass container was thicker, like most bottles and jars.
The lid fits on snug and airtight, and there is a button on top that you can push to pump out air and create a vacuum seal. I cannot comment on the worth of this nifty aspect, as the taste of our coffee has not noticeably changed after we began storing our beans in this container.
Still, it is a nice container, it looks nice, appears to function well, and hasn't cracked yet. It even comes with a small sturdy steel coffee scoop. And we get to see our coffee all day long.

High quality
Bottom line - highly quality vacuum container - would recommend for use with products that are not used daily.
Ordered this for use to store my whole coffee beans. The product appears well crafted and the glass is high quality. After washing and drying the product, I loaded it up with a pound of coffee and this sealed extremely well. It is pretty much impossible to remove the lid without using the release to break the vacuum.
However, after using this for a few days I started to feel like it was a little more work than I wanted to do on a daily basis. It seems to take a while until the button stayed down at the recommend level - I'd rather just push a button once, slid the lid on and release to seal the container than have to push the button 30-40 times to get a vacuum seal.
If you stock up on coffee when there is a good sale, I still wouldn't recommend this for longer term coffee storage, simply because it is a clear container - coffee slowly degrades when exposed to light so it should be an opaque material. I am now using this to store my ground corn (polenta) to ensure it stays fresh and keeps any bugs out that may get into the pantry - after one experience with pantry moths, I don't take chances and now put all my grain in good quality containers. Since I only make polenta about once a month, I don't mind the time/effort it takes to reseal.
Overall, this seems to be a well crafted and high quality product. However, it does seem to be a little on the expensive side for what you get and just didn't work out for me (as originally intended). Fortunately, I did find a good use for it.
