Gravel-Tuned Assistance

Go Anywhere with More Control. Our specially tuned EP8-RS motor is central to Denna's go-anywhere capabilities. Weight, power and simplicity plus a best-in-class battery range means you can rewrite your idea of what is possible.

RS - stands for Rider Synergy: our very own firmware for Shimano EP motors.

Gen 2 - means that this is the second generation of our RS firmware. This increases the maximum torque to 85 Nm.

RC - is short for Road Control, our specific motor tune for Denna. Natural, powerful assistance developed specifically for narrower tires.

Two pre-configured profiles

Gravel - - This profile offers the most natural ride and the longest range. This works best on smoother surfaces where you can maintain a higher cadence.

Gravel + - - This profile is ideal for looser surfaces, where more torque is needed at lower cadences to maximise traction.

RC Tune

Full Torque and Balanced Power**: Using the Shimano e-Tube app riders can configure up to 85 Nm of Torque, for the steepest and loosest paths. The maximum power is 350 W and the power delivery is tuned for control on looser surfaces.

Orbea Gravel Geometry

No matter what your definition of gravel, great geometry helps to make riding rougher surfaces easy. Shorter seat tube: Using a shorter seat tube with a slightly more relaxed angle optimises vibration absorption and vertical compliance. Optimised chainstay length: Long enough to smooth out the ride but short enough for quick handling. Longer top tube: Works with a shorter stem for precise handling off road. Size-tuned fork trail: Stability and precision for all sizes. Lower BB: Lowers the center of gravity to provide a more stable ride on rough surfaces. Longer wheelbase: Boosts stability and comfort.

Balanced Weight Distribution

Easy going handling comes form a low center of gravity and gravel-tuned geometry which make Denna easy to ride when things get difficult.

Generous 50C Tire Clearance

Gravel can take you almost anywhere, so needs can vary. If you rarely venture away from back-roads, you may want narrower tires. Others seek out the wildest places and appreciate a bigger tire. Denna has clearance for up to 50C tires, so you can fit many mountain bike tires for maximum grip and comfort.

At home on every terrain, Denna’s finely tuned frame delivers controlled flex, adapting to rough surfaces without sacrificing composure or draining your energy.

Advanced Materials

Denna is available in our toughest, OMR carbon, or our High Polished Alloy. Whichever one you choose you can expect all the great features of Denna, and a smooth ride on rougher paths.

OMR Carbon: High modulus and high strength fibers improve stiffness-to-weight ratios while advanced moulding technologies prevent wrinkling and unconformities in critical zones, using less carbon while maintaining strength.

Hydro: Each weld on the main frame is polished smooth, matching the aesthetics of a monocoque frame. Tailoring the tube shapes and wall thicknesses allow us to offer the same ride feel as our carbon frames.

Gravel Performance with Denna Fork

The carbon fork uses a robust crown, rounded blade profile and longer fork legs plus our best OMR carbon monocoque construction to offer the best combination of comfort, tire clearance and torsional stiffness. Longer legs for absorption & bump compliance. Stiff crown for rigidity & precise tracking. Fits 50C tires with 5mm clearance on each side. Full ICR internal brake hose routing.

Frame Absorption Points

Quiet the trail chatter. Specifically shaping the frame at key points allows controlled vertical flex to absorb bumps and chatter coming from rougher paths. The tube shapes here resist lateral flex, meaning we don't compromise Denna's pedalling efficiency or handling.
