Offering accurate reproduction of your instrument's acoustic sound, this piezoelectric ceramic pickup uses Fishman's Floating Mount system for easy installation in a wing slot of your violin or viola's bridge. The lightweight design of the pickup minimizes its muting effect on your instrument's natural acoustic sound.
The V-200 comes with a carpenter-style 1/4" output jack that mounts to the side of your instrument with chinrest-style hardware. Once the output jack is mounted, the included 10' long 3.5mm to 1/4" jack cable allows you to plug in your instrument either directly to an amplifier or preamp. An impedance-matched preamp such as the Platinum Stage, Platinum Pro EQ, or Powerjack can help realize the full frequency potential of the pickup. Alternatively, an Aura Imaging preamp can be used for extra tone depth and realism (preamps available separately).
