As the fourth step in the John Innes Life Partner for Plants collection, this loam based, reduced peat mix provides a sturdier home for your larger, maturing plants - the weight of this compost helps to anchor and secure your plants as they blossom and grow.
The carefully crafted adaptation of the traditional loam, peat and horticultural grit with added nutrients recipe is specifically designed to be easily wet and re-wet, retaining moisture, but also allow for necessary drainage to prevent waterlogged roots and allow the plant to respire. Also, the slow release nutrient system gives the added benefit of up to 4 months of feeding without top-up, promoting healthy and established plants!
