Humanist and artist Hans Coray designed the Landi Chair for the Swiss National Exhibition in 1939, a pinnacle of design achievement.

With functional elegance and efficient use of material, the Landi chair still sets a benchmark in industrial design today. Overcoming a history marked by breaks in production and alternate manufacturers, Vitra has collaborated with Henriette Coray, Hans Coray's widow, to return the chair to production in its original design. 

Young Swiss designer Michel Charlot designed the Davy Table, a minimal aluminum outdoor table, specifically to go with the Landi Chair.

Both the Landi Chair and Davy Table are well suited for homes, restaurants, cafes, hotels, and office spaces, indoors and outdoors.

Construction:

• Seat Shell is pressed aluminum sheeting with 91 punched holes, matte anodized surface.
• Glides are light grey injection molded TPE.
• Highly resistant to sunlight and water
• Stackable 6 high.
• Please note: while the anodized aluminum surface is durable and weather-resistant, the chairs may begin to show signs of wear with frequent stacking and unstacking.
