The Bilstein B3 air spring provides a perfect driving experience under high load, due to the constant counter-pressure in the bellows of the air spring. This is an optimum OE replacement for vehicles in which the air spring and shock absorber are installed as separate units. Bilstein B3 OE Replacement (Air) suspension air bags are designed to replace the original suspension air bags on select European brand vehicles. Bilstein is an OE supplier for air suspension systems; the quality of these products meets, and typically exceeds, the standards set forth by the vehicle's manufacturer. Each B3 OE Replacement (Air) suspension air bag is designed to connect directly into the original connectors on the vehicle, ensuring modification-free installation and restoration of the original feel of the vehicle.

Position: Rear Left

Features:

  • Uncompromising comfort and driving characteristics
  • Rapid adjustment to road and driving conditions
  • Constant damping power under any load

The delicate axial bellows of the air spring provide very sensitive spring behaviour with a comparably low rolling radius. This ensures optimum functionality even in confined working chambers. Due to the permanent load (contraction, extension, different pressures and temperatures), the material is worn out and may eventually leak. If the air bellows cannot be inflated any more, the vehicle is no longer fit to drive. Technical further developments from the original application to today’s part are usually easily recognizable. Due to higher efficiency and Bilstein's obligation to increasingly employ environmentally friendly materials, the sheathing of the bump stop no longer contains chromium VI. Apart from that, all old parts by Bilstein are recycled in an environmentally friendly manner via the Partslife initiative. Due to the permanent movement and mileage, the high gas-pressure and the permanent oil contact, the seals in particular will become worn. If oil leaks, the air suspension module and other parts such as seals and valves lose their functionality.

Great introduction to Linux kernel development
Format: Kindle
This is a great book for those wanting to get into Linux kernel development. It has a good flow to the writing and doesn't try and bury you with too much deep knowledge as a beginner (just enough to give you the basics of the concepts being discussed). if you purchase this book there is a second book with more depth on programming provided free (on the books website github). I enjoyed this book so much I've purchased the second book for my kindle reader to support the author. I've also purchased Kaiwan's book on Linux kernel debugging which is also an excellent read; giving you a good introduction to all the different methods/tools that can be used to help you debug those stubborn issues you'll inevitably encounter working as a kernel developer. I can't wait to read the next edition of this book coming out in January; revised for the 6.x kernel. FYI, I've read this book and worked through all the examples on the latest Linux stable kernel (as of this review 6.4.x/6.5.x-rcX). You won't regret getting this book if you want to start down the path of being a Linux kernel developer! I'd love to see a book from Kaiwan on developing module/drivers using Rust (with it's support now included in Linux kernel since 6.2). :-)
