The f/4 maximum aperture stays constant over the full focal-length range, so there is no variation in shutter speed or ISO when zooming.

The lens features two UD (Ultra Low Dispersion) elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and a Super Spectra Coating to help with colour balance and amplify contrast in your images. The combination of these aspherical elements battles the issue of flare and ghosting so you can feel confident when shooting.
