The 14-3-3 protein gamma (YWHAG) is a crucial member of the highly conserved 14-3-3 protein family, which is ubiquitously expressed in eukaryotic cells. It functions as a key regulatory module by binding to client proteins that are phosphorylated on specific serine or threonine residues.
