Billy fondly recalls the time he supported Elton John on his 1976 US tour. Rendered in bold, striking shades of green and yellow, ‘Saturday Night’ encapsulates the moment Elton John kicked his piano stool with his heel, accidentally sending it flying off stage. As Connolly says, “he does that leg thing which is pure Elton.”

“It was hard to capture it. I had to make it all technicolour to get the movement right. I love it, and I get jealous of it.”
