The Xvive Audio U5R dual-channel camera-mount wireless receiver gives you the ability to simultaneously receive audio from two U5 transmitters. It features four internal antennas and utilizes true-diversity wireless technology on each channel to greatly enhance signal reliability, even under difficult shooting conditions.
The U5R mounts on a DSLR/mirroless camera, using the built-in shoemount adapter. It features two gain-control knobs to quickly adjust the recording levels, independently for each microphone. Equipped with an auto-scan function, the receiver automatically searches and finds a clean transmission frequency to avoid unwanted dropouts and automatically pairs with the transmitter for fast setup time. A bright OLED displays battery power, transmitters' battery life, channel, gain, clip, and mute.
You have the option to switch between mono or stereo modes. Recording in mono combines both microphones on both the left and right side of your audio track. Recording in stereo puts one person on the left and the other person on the right, allowing you to isolate each person's dialog and adjust each level individually later in post.
The receiver conveniently operates on a replaceable Xvive ID799 lithium-ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 5 hours of operation on a full charge.
