GREEN NOISE USA EXCLUSIVE!!!  Green Noise is proud to bring these Property of the Lost releases to the states, especially ones like this outstanding outing from X Ray Cat Trio, barroom rock n rollers from Leeds, UK with a wonderful mix of instrumental and vocal rockers, sort of recalling the unforgettable albums by bands like Brinsley Schwarz and Reigning Sound, or at least like them using the music of the early years of rock n roll to create something fresh, going back a bit earlier than most bands for inspiration, specifically the late 1950s and early 1960s in places like Memphis, Atlanta, Kansas City, Texas, NYC, and Detroit, sounding inspired by the music of legends like Hank Ballard, the Belmonts, The Ventures, Santo & Johnny, the Tornadoes, Link Wray, Del Shannon, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins and Buddy Holly.  While bands often seem influenced by some of those artists, rarely have I heard a band with a sound that seems influenced by such a diverse bunch of artists from this era.  Brilliant.  Highly recommended listen. -- winch

"Here we go guys, here we go, a rock and bloody roll record unleashed by the trio and embellished by their sax and pedal steel. It’s a full on in your chops 10 track stomper of an album which has its running gears in punk rock emblazoned with anything that makes it bounce even better.  This is once again a genre mangling exercise of the highest order, rock n roll is not just alive and kicking but absolutely bouncing out of its skin. This is one of the best contemporary albums I have had the pleasure of reviewing in a long time." -- Simon Nott, UK Rock & Roll Magazine

Sunday 1st October 2023. 4 o’ clock in the afternoon and there’s a sense of expectation at The Jenny Lind, as three lads from West Yorkshire prepare to launch into 45 minutes of Garage rockabilly, psych surf and Gretsch soaked doo wop. El Nico (guitar / vocals), Howling Ric (drums) and Adam Richards (bass) AKA the X RAY CAT TRIO are here to round off the annual Property of the Lost weekender with a special afternoon session. There’s frenetic energy throughout, with the crowd lapping up every morsal thrown at them. The band offer a sublime pick + mix from a 15 year catalogue with no pause for breath ‘bar some good old fashioned banter. It’s all bones and muscle with no gristle filler here. For me, nothing beats a great live album, and this recording has it all. Perfectly capturing three musicians at the top of their game playing to a truly appreciative audience. It got us thinking… “There really should be more…” So, this became a collaboration effort with The Jenny Lind with its own Jenny catalogue number, paving the way for more live sessions to be immortalised in the album format. The future is unwritten, But the seeds have been sewn.

Life changing advice that is simple to apply
When discussing building relationship skills with a therapist several years ago (and it is a skill, make no mistake), she recommended this book as providing a useful framework for thinking about loving relationships of all kinds — romantic, familial, even friends. Several years later, I can honestly say it has permanently changed the way I think about these relationships. The premise, as you probably know, is that people have one of five native love languages — words, gifts, touch, acts of service, or quality time. It's a remarkably robust idea. It's so simple and clear that I instantly recognized the love languages in my current relationships, and even achieved a much greater understanding of some past conflicts by thinking of them in this new context. For example, I realized while reading that my mother is 100% on the "acts of service" side. While she almost never gets sentimental, she shows love by doing all she can to help people out in any way possible — even ways that seem completely trivial. And I realized how much more hurtful it can be if I take these acts for granted, since these are her little expressions of love. It explained a lot. I also realized that my partner uses "words of affirmation," which had been a source of minor conflict for us, as that's probably my least used love language. It turns out that he was a little hurt whenever I'd hang up the phone without saying "I love you." I've now taught myself to say it every time, and he's noticeably happier about it — or as Chapman would say, his tank is fuller. After I read this book and held onto it for a while, I gave it to my sister. She read it, and we had a great discussion about the relationships in our lives. Chapman has really hit on something perfect with this little book — a simple theory that's easy to remember, remarkably accurate, and most importantly, instantly practical.

Perfect for special occasions or to brighten up any gift!
Color: Pink
This is a lovely, easy-to-use work with the satin ribbon; it's quite pretty. I wish the roll were a bit bigger since it's very small, but overall, it's a great product.

Coolest label maker I’ve ever come across
Color: Beige
Seriously this is such a fun way to wrap presents! It comes with ink and small labels. Must buy ribbon separately. But I love this and will definitely use it for years to come! It works via Bluetooth with an app on your phone. You can customize to whatever you want!
