This Soothing Hand balm for sensitive hands was developed to gently soothe and repair busy hands. Made with a base of organic sweet almond oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter, these gentle plant oils penetrate deep into the skin to aid suppleness and retain hydration. The Soothing Hand balm for sensitive hands is reinforced with candelilla wax, a vegan fruit-based ester that soaks into skin without leaving residual stickiness. It works to strengthen the skin trans-dermal barrier and prevent moisture loss that leads to dry cracked skin. Hands work hard and, along with the face, are most exposed to environmental effects. Beautiful organic rosehip oil is added for its powerful phytosterols and antioxidants. Antioxidants combat oxidative stress caused by free radicals (molecules that have been broken loose and want to react (a bit like a rusting-effect). Rosehip oil works to bolster the skin cell membranes and shield them from premature ageing.Another super oil that we felt had to be included was Borage seed oil, also known as Starflower oil. It is a light oil that readily soaks into the skin and is rich in gamma linolenic acid, an omega 6 fatty acid used to treat skin inflammatory diseases such as dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis. It is an essential oil for the human body and promotes cell regeneration. A true super-oil. We use a high grade cold pressed organic grade in our balm to ensure we get it’s full potential. All 100% pure organic aromatherapy essential oils.
