Dynaudio CORE-7 Professional 2-Way Reference Studio Monitor (Dark Grey, Single) - 7"

Designed to mitigate listening fatigue for audio professionals, the dark grey Dynaudio Acoustics Core 7 is a professional 2-way studio monitor well suited for nearfield and midfield applications in high-demand environments.

The Core 7 features a 1" Esotar Pro tweeter and a 7" glass-fiber woofer. The Esotar Pro tweeter builds upon the success of the soft-dome tweeter for which Dynaudio has become known. This latest design features an inner dome that sits just behind the diaphragm and optimizes airflow, smooths the frequency response, and eliminates unwanted internal resonances, resulting in outstanding imaging, transient detail, and an effortless high-frequency response.

The 7" woofer utilizes a magnesium silicate polymer (MSP) material, which offers the best combination of lightness, stiffness, and damping, for remarkably fast and authoritative control. Glass-fiber formers with advanced magnet designs deliver deep, accurate bass, and a natural midrange detail. The integrated Class-D biamplifier delivers 150, and 500 W to the tweeter and woofers, which combine for a frequency response of 38 Hz to 31 kHz (-6 dB) and a max SPL of 118 dB (half-space).

The rear panel sports a balanced XLR input as well as an AES/EBU input and output. A word clock BNC input is provided to ensure the best quality from a digital signal path. The rear panel features a bass extension switch, digital channel selection for left/right, a sound balance switch with three tilt filter settings, and two position switches for selecting room treatment filters or boundary filter. The Core 7 uses a universal power supply and ships with an IEC power cord.
