Brembo always uses the same material for its aftermarket disc production as used by the original manufacturer. High Carbon cast iron, compared to the standard materials used offers a higher damping coefficient that decreases vibration and noise, improves brake behavior, and ensures better driving comfort and better heat conduction properties that allows faster transfer of heat from the braking surfaces to other surfaces shortening cooling times. Sturdy
The ball bearings make them roll smooth. I've put plenty of pressure through them and no bending or breaking. The middle sized unit is probably the most useful. The small one has it's uses but can act like a pizza cutter and easily go through sound deadening mats. The large one has a little too much surface area to get a good crush on the mats.
