The 2" Cat Mate Wall Liners for Cat Mate Doors are used to frame out the wall where you plan to install your Cat Mate lockable cat flap. The Cat Mate wall liners create a tunnel within the interior of the wall, so it is necessary to measure the thickness of the wall prior to purchasing them.

The Cat Mate doors themselves will frame out 2" right out the box. You will need to purchase wall liners based on the remaining amount of wall thickness after the 2" cat door is accounted for. For example, if your wall is 8" thick, you will need to purchase three wall liners, so 6" of additional liner and 2" of the pet door. If your wall is 7" thick, for example, you will need to purchase three additional wall liners and trim down accordingly for a functional fit.

This product only works with Cat Mate Doors and is not compatible with other small cat doors. 

Please Note: It is crucial to measure your wall thickness prior to purchasing a CatMate wall liner. You may need to purchase multiple liners depending on your wall thickness. For wall installation, washers are required for the placement of the screws. Washers are not provided in this purchase.
