"One of the highlights of early Devo live shows was a song Booji Boy sang called, 'The Words Get Stuck in My Throat.' It was kind of a sappy tune, about little hidden microphones and View-Masters and shit, but it made a huge impression on Angela Sawyer when, still in swaddling clothes, she heard it on a bootleg tape recorded it at Max's Kansas City. She would sit in front of the family Walkman all day and play that song over and over again. It became, what she calls, 'the theme song of my youth.' In the years between that epiphany and this LP, Ms. Sawyer has worn many bonnets. She has been in 'bands' like Preggy Peggy & The Lazy Babymakers, Duck That, Exusamwa, and Negative One. She has run a bizarro-world CDR label (Being Weird Isn't Enough). She has championed crazy music for many zines, sites like Perfect Sound Forever, and as a writer of liner notes. She ran the legendary Weirdo Record Store out of a Harvard Square bomb site. And throughout this she has maintained a bad attitude and propensity for ear-damage that always makes her the first person strange foreigners think of when they want someone to play with. She has made her presence felt as a supremely subterranean force on the New England landscape. Anyway, back to the LP at hand. As a result of Angela wondering about what might happen if words actually got stuck in your throat, she began doing sound poetry vocal exercises designed to answer this age old question. Endless hours of such stuff were recorded and studied, with the final determination being that words can't really get stuck. They always come out eventually. And when they do, they're either croaks or they're honks. In order to show the difference between these two schools of sound, Sawyer assembled this album from hundreds of hours of recordings. Great for use in Italy!
We spent 3 weeks in Italy in May of 2023. This was so easy to use for making sure all of our cell phones and power bricks were fully charged for the next day of discovery while in Italy. Plugged in effortlessly everywhere we stayed in Italy. We used all the charging ports and the USA outlets for two dual voltage power packs (remember the Italian grid is 240VAC not 120VAC like in USA) and my dual voltage CPAP power brick. No problems any where - it worked flawlessly. I would not suggest using it for curling irons or blow dryers or any very high wattage devices and anything you plug into it that does not say dual voltage on the device may be destroyed and possible catch fire! So do be aware of what you use with it as it does not drop the voltage to 120VAC from the 240VAC Italian wall outlets. Nice feature is that it comes with an adapter you can use when you get back to USA so you can use it at home till you pack your bags for the next trip!

Worked as expected, lots of USB ports.
Just used on my trip to Paris, worked well and I liked having so many USB ports. The long cord was great because my hotel was rather vintage and the outlets weren't in convenient places. Glad to see it will also work for my next trip. I appreciated that it came with adapters for the US also so I could test it at home before I left.

Perfect for travel!
These "extension cord" power adapters were perfect for us during a recent trip to Europe! They come with multiple adapters so that you can use the adapter in several countries. Best of all, one of the adapters is for North America, so we can still use them at home! Each adapter has three 3-prong plug sockets (meaning you can use either 2-prong or 3-prong plugs), one of which is set slightly apart from the other two to accommodate a larger plug. Each has four USB ports, plus one USB-C port. Plus, it has a 5-foot extension cord, so you can reach that one socket that never seems to be where you actually need it to be! That made it perfect to be able to set the adapter on the bedside table and charge all of our devices at once, but still keep our phones close at hand for checking time, setting alarms, etc. With all of that in one little box, we were able to eliminate the bag-full of various adapters we've had to pack for past trips. Definitely recommend these for your travel needs!

What an amazing adapter/outlet!

This adapter/outlet is the best I've used for my travels (Internationally). It stands out in a crowded market with its versatility and convenience. It supports plugs from many countries, including the US, UK, EU, Asia and Africa, making it an ideal companion for travelers.
Please note: that this outlet does not convert voltage (iPhones/Tablets/Gadgets with USB connections are OK).
Design and Build Quality:
