The athleticism and quality of fit they offer draws a crowd.  While those three season boots shine for earlier season work, they can get a little brisk later in the year.  We've spent a long time hunting for an athletic mountain boot that is also warm, the new Trango Tower Extreme hits that mark with flying colors.

This full shanked beefy boot provides the climbing performance that our customers appreciate and the 3D Flex™ ankle provides reliable ankle mobility while fending off shin bang.  With the addition of increased warmth plus the collar tip gaiter seals in warmth while helping to keep snow and ice out of the boot. 

The abrasion resistant uppers with Honeycomb Guard™ inserts in high-wear zones fend off the roughest country and the full synthetic upper ensures a low maintenance boot with long-lived fit consistency.  The Vibram® One sole with sticky rubber and edging platforms has proven a crowd favorite, the additional length provided by the front tab for fully automatic crampin attachment also provides additional protection to the boot's toe cap.  

Fit on the Trango Tower Extreme is similar to that of the Trango Tower EVO - roomier at the forefoot that you find on the Trango Cube - If you are a Trango Cube wearer, consider subtracting a half euro from the size to get a good fit.

I had a large, 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner that stopped working properly in its third year of use--one year after the manufacturer's warranty had expired--essentially leaving me with a glorified hot air fan. Asurion coverage was worth every penny!
Bought a window AC in 2020 and was offered Asurion coverage at checkout. Paid $39 for the 4 year plan and never expceted it would be worth the money paid. Honestly, never expected to even use it. That said...the AC failed about 2 years later so I made a claim online. The claim went in but required a call to an Asurion rep (very nice guy on the phone). He asked a few questions then told me the claim was approved. Total time to for the entire process was about 15 mins. I had the choice of having it repaired or a refund check. I asked for the refund. An emailed pre-paid UPS label was recieved a few minites later and the guy said they'd mail me a check when the UPS package was received, so I dropped it off at UPS. Three weeks later I had a check in my hand for $399 (the excact cost I paid for the AC unit 2 years before minus taxes paid). Really easy process and quick time to receive the check. The only thing to note is that if you make a purchase like that (large electronic or home appliance)...keep that box and packaging. Luckily I had it all and just popped it back into the box for shipment. Not sure how I would have dealt with that if I hadn't saved the box. Thank you Asurion, for delivering on your promise of quick and easy extended warranty payment. I'll defintely purchase the plan again with my replacement AC!
