After the election, I wasn't sure how to articulate myself. Artists I looked up to where creating pieces with biting humor and intellectual commentary on the state of the nation.
As someone coming from a background of immigrants and as someone who is by no means straight I wanted to create and join in. But I needed to draw something softer, I wanted to create a piece that came from a place of affection, not anger.
