The Mini XPE COB Flashlight is a versatile dual light source tool. The front XPE LED delivers a focused beam that reaches up to 100 meters, perfect for spotting trails or objects at a distance. The side COB light provides a broad, soft glow that can illuminate up to 25 square meters, ideal for use inside a tent or as a work light. Made from high-strength aluminum alloy, it is shock resistant and durable. It features an IPX-4 waterproof rating, so it handles rain and splashes without issue. The built-in rechargeable battery eliminates the need for disposable batteries, saving you money and waste.

This flashlight offers three lighting modes for different needs: high brightness for clear vision, low brightness for extended battery life, and an SOS strobe for emergency signaling. The telescopic zoom lets you adjust the beam from a wide flood to a tight spot. Its small size (93x31x31 mm) and lightweight design make it easy to slip into a pocket, backpack, or even clip onto a keychain. The USB charging cable allows you to recharge from any standard USB port, like a laptop, power bank, or wall adapter.

Whether you are navigating a dark trail, setting up camp after sunset, or need a reliable backup light at home, this flashlight delivers consistent performance. Its dual light sources and adjustable focus make it a practical tool for a wide range of activities.

Key Features and Benefits

- Dual light source (XPE spotlight + COB floodlight) that provides both focused long-range illumination and wide-area lighting for different tasks.

  • Rechargeable built-in battery that eliminates the need for constant battery purchases and is more convenient for travel.
  • IPX-4 waterproof design that allows normal use in rainy conditions, making it reliable for outdoor adventures.
  • Adjustable focal length (telescopic zoom) that lets you switch between a narrow spotlight and a wide flood beam instantly.
  • High-strength aluminum alloy body that is wear-resistant and drop-resistant for long-lasting durability.
  • Compact and lightweight build that fits easily in a pocket, backpack, or on a keychain for everyday carry.

Who Is This For

- Hikers and backpackers who need a reliable, compact light for trail navigation and camp setup.

  • Campers who want a hands-free floodlight for their tent or cooking area.
  • Anglers who need a bright, waterproof light for early morning or nighttime fishing trips.
  • Anyone looking for a durable emergency flashlight to keep in their car, home, or bug-out bag.

Usage Scenario

You are on a weekend camping trip. After a long hike, you reach your campsite just as the sun sets. You pull out your Mini XPE COB Flashlight. Using the COB side light, you set up your tent with a wide, even glow. Later, you hear a noise near the tree line. You switch to the XPE spotlight and zoom in to check the area, spotting a raccoon from 50 meters away. The flashlight is small enough to stay clipped to your jacket, and you recharge it the next morning from your power bank.

Micro Comparison

Unlike single-source keychain lights that only offer a narrow beam, this flashlight gives you both a powerful spotlight and a wide floodlight in one device. Many larger camping lights are bulky and require separate batteries. This model is compact, rechargeable, and waterproof, making it a more versatile and convenient choice for outdoor use.

Not good if you need Whole Foods gift cards
If you want to buy Whole Foods gift cards (which is why I got it) it flags it for fraud and doesnt let you. I was told you can spend at Whole Foods but not buy WF gift cards, even though it is a Prime Credit Card. Also if you buy WF gift cards online, you dont get the rewards since its from a gift card company and not Whole Foods.

A Truly Ergonomic Mouse
Number of Items: 1
Other not completely flat mice claim to be "ergonomic", but the only way to completely remove stress from your forearm when using a mouse is with a "vertical" mouse. My 2020 K75575WW Kensington ergonomic vertical mouse developed a problem with the left button "stuttering" so that it sent multiple button clicks when pressed just once. I liked the Kensington quite a bit. But it always just a little bit on the "not quite as solid as I would like" side, and failing after just 2.5 years confirmed this. So I wanted a more solidly build mouse. A search for "ergonomic mouse review" showed that the Logitech MX Master 3S was clearly the best ergonomic mouse available. At $100 it was several times more expensive as others including the latest Kensington vertical mouse. But sometimes furgal doesn't mean the least expensive. Sometimes it can mean the most expensive if that comes with better performance, features and lifespan. So I ordered it. And while it is indeed an incredible mouse, the angle is only about 20 degrees. The result is that while there is some reduction in forearm stress compared to a flat mouse, it wasn't enough for me. By the end of my very long days driving my mouse almost as much as I drive my keyboard, I could feel the tension building up in my forearm. So after a week I returned it and bought this Logitech MX Vertical. It is slightly less expensive than the MX Master 3S, but still much more expensive relative to other options. And while it is lighter and a little less substantial feeling in my hand than the MX Master 3S, it still feels very firm and solid. Most importantly keeps my hand in the neutral position with my fingers at about 70 degrees. A great feature of the MX Vertical shares with the MX Master 3S is the thumb rest. The Kensington didn't have this and so my thumb rested on the desktop. If it was a bit warm and my hands would sweat my thumb wouldn't slide smoothly and I would have to lift my thumb off the desk when I went to move the mouse. Not a horrible thing, but if you spend 8+ hours mousing around it gets tiresome. The button clicks are crisp. Best of all when the button bottoms out it feels like it is pressing against the case. It doesn't feel like travel is being limited by the switch itself bottoming out like the Kensington felt like it did. My hope is that this will keep the switch from wearing out so fast as happened with the Kensington. One slight negative of the MX Vertical is that I don't feel like I am quite as accurate in being able to move the cursor to a specific spot on the screen without some amount of conscious effort. Instead it doesn't go exactly in the direction I intended and overshoots where wanted it to stop. As such it might not make the best mouse for video games. [UPDATE: There is a bit of a learning curve in moving the mouse accurately. In the last couple weeks my need to make a more conscious effort to move the mouse to a specific spot on the screen is going down. Still think it is likely to not be as accurate as a flater mouse]
