This fall Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and scribe of Marvel's Astonishing X-Men, makes his big-screen debut as writer/director with Serenity, the big- budget feature follow-up to his cult-hit TV show Firefly?the story of a ship full of mercenaries, outlaws, fugitives, and one law-abiding prostitute running across the fringes of space. Now Whedon pens a three issue miniseries based on the film with Brett Matthews, whose previous credits include Spider-man specials with Daredevil and Wolverine, episodes of TV's Firefly, an Angel miniseries, and the animated Chronicles of Riddick feature "Dark Fury. " The crew of Serenity once again find themselves broke and on the wrong side of a number of very large firearms, making the first issue a case study in how to mix intense, Whedon-style character interaction with cinematic action and violence. Artist Will Conrad and colorist Laura Martin paint a rough and wild world of adventure across a strange and dangerous universe. Each issue of this series features three covers, one for each member of the Serenity crew, drawn by the biggest names in comics. Issue #1 features Mal by John Cassaday, Inara by J. G. Jones, and Jayne by Bryan Hitch.

When I bought the blanket with the assumption that it would be pink leopard on both sides. Unfortunately, when I retrieved, my package it was white on the inside and pink leopard on the outside. It was nice until it started to shed so I gave it to my sister. I did not like the size I should've gotten something way bigger. It will keep you warm though. Especially during your period. It wasn't all the way soft because one side was odd the other is what you actually offer so that part I didn't like very much. Overall it does get the warming job done.

Pdvbiee - Hot Pink Cheetah Flannel Blanket

UPDATE: 4 months later ... I sleep with this blanket every night. It is soft, warm and comfortable. It has held up well through multiple wash cycles with no fading, unravelling seams or matting. Still wish it was printed on both sides (really the only reason it's not 5 stars especially since they don't show this aspect in the ad listing), but overall I'm glad I have this blanket! ORIGINAL: I'm a sucker for this type of pattern (hot pink leopard), so I knew I had to have this throw blanket. When I opened the package, I felt a bit let down because the back of the blanket is solid white, which I hadn't noticed in the ad until after I placed my order. It had a faint factory smell, so I thew it in the wash. I was slightly concerned the hot pink color might bleed, but that was not a problem. It washed and dried easily, just as I expected. It definitely feels and looks cozier and fluffier after being laundered. Although, you can more easily tell that the hot pink cheetah pattern is just printed on the blanket, particularly when folding over the darker areas. It still looks cute and will keep me warm, but it may not become my favorite blanket as I initially thought it might be. I also think the price could be a bit lower considering the pattern is just printed on white fabric. There were also already a few loose threads at the ends.
