Brocade (Formerly) 10G-SFPP-ZRD-1559-79-40 Compatible SFP+ Transceiver – 10GBase-DWDM, 1559.79nm, 40km

This Brocade (Formerly) 10G-SFPP-ZRD-1559-79-40 compatible SFP+ transceiver delivers reliable 10GBase-DWDM performance over single-mode fiber, enabling long-distance DWDM links with a precise 1559.79 nm channel. Built to meet or exceed OEM specifications and designed for TAA-compliant deployments, this module fits standard SFP+ ports and is ideal for data centers, enterprise networks, and telecom backbones that demand dependable, license-free DWDM connectivity. With Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support and a broad operating range, it provides visibility and resilience for modern networks that require scalable, cost-effective 10 Gbps solutions.

  • 10GBase-DWDM performance up to 40 km over SMF at 1559.79 nm. This module is optimized for DWDM networks, enabling high-capacity links without the need for additional signal regeneration and making it a compelling choice for data centers and campus networks seeking scalable, long-reach connectivity.
  • 100 GHz DWDM channel spacing with LC duplex connectivity. The 1559.79 nm window minimizes attenuation and dispersion effects, supporting stable, high-quality links. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real-time insights into optical power, temperature, and link health to help you preempt issues.
  • SFP+ form factor with plug-and-play compatibility for Brocade equipment and other 10G SFP+ ports. This module is designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications and is suitable for environments where legacy and current hardware share the same DWDM strategy, offering a practical upgrade path without replacing existing fiber infrastructure.
  • Wide operating temperature range of 0 to 70°C supports data center floors, telecom closets, and field deployments. Its robust design helps maintain consistent performance across temperature variations, while the compact form factor keeps cabling simple and scalable for growing networks and multi-link deployments up to 40 km.
  • TA A compliant, tested, and reliable transceiver engineered to deliver dependable, OEM-grade performance. By aligning with the original Brocade design intent, it offers interoperability in mixed-vendor environments and helps streamline procurement, inventory management, and maintenance routines in enterprise-scale networks.

How to Install Brocade (Formerly) 10G-SFPP-ZRD-1559-79-40 Compatible SFP+ Transceiver

  • Power down the host device or ensure the system supports hot-swapping in the SFP+ slot. Prepare the module and the fiber patch cords, handling with care to prevent electrostatic discharge.
  • Insert the transceiver into an available 10G SFP+ port until it seats and latches securely. Confirm that the host recognizes the module and that the transceiver indicator LEDs reflect a healthy link state.
  • Connect a single-mode fiber patch cord with LC connectors to the transceiver’s LC interface, ensuring proper polarity and duplex configuration. Route fiber with attention to bend radius and routing constraints, keeping within the 40 km reach as specified.
  • If your equipment supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), enable it to monitor real-time optical power, temperature, and other diagnostic parameters. Use this data to verify link quality and schedule maintenance or fiber cleaning if readings indicate degradation.
  • Power up the device and perform basic connectivity tests (link status, throughput, latency) to confirm stable 10 Gbps DWDM operation. Maintain routine checks and record DOM data for ongoing performance tracking in your network management system.

Good quality for the price, I’m very happy with this purchase.
Size: Small
They’re slightly smaller than a tennis ball, lightweight, and have a nice bounce. My dog is medium-sized (about 68 lbs) lab mix, and these work great for her. I’ve been looking for a toy like this for a long time. It’s made of soft rubber/silicone and squeaks with very little pressure, which is perfect for my dog. She loves to gently carry toys around the house and yard, and most squeaky toys require too much force. These are easy for her to squeak and just the right size to carry.

The best new toy in years! 🧡
Size: Small, Size: Small
I opened the package and took out the peach toy for my 7 pound nine year old Yorkie. Needless to say, the floor is already covered with a dozen other toys. When he touched this toy with his nose, it somehow started spinning around. He backed up and then swatted it with his paw. It rolled about three feet away. He has been playing with ‘peach’ for about 25 minutes nonstop, so I had to interrupt my busy day to write this review. I have not ever seen him love a toy this much. Now, it is squeaking pretty much nonstop, and he is still picking it up and tossing it. It is the perfect size for him. It’s a great deal too, with four similar toys in the package.

An instant favorite for my one year old pup!
Size: Small, Size: Small
I came across these randomly while looking for presents for my one year old 10lb chi-mix. I gave her one to start with just to make sure it wasn’t flimsy & she wasn’t going to destroy it because she is definitely a chewer. She was instantly OBSESSED! These are now her most treasured squeakies. They’re the perfect size for her too and I’m happy to say they’ve held up well to her pouncing/jumping on them constantly. They’re definitely not quiet but we get an absolute kick out of watching the way she plays with them. If I could give 10 stars I would. Almost two months later and the novelty hasn’t worn off to her. I’ve saved them to my lists just in case we ever need to replace them for any reason. I’m not sure she’ll ever love a toy as much as these

Squeak is not super loud! Family fun!
Size: Small
My small dog loves these toys. He detects them the very moment they enter the house, even more if the package has been opened. I used to give him one at a time because he would favor the newest one for quite a long time. Now he sniffs them out no matter where I store them. The squeakers have fallen INTO the toy rather than going down his throat, and they're rather difficult to chew out of place. They do collect quite a bit of debris and hair from the floor, so a good rinsing is needed sometimes. My little 13 lb terrier mix loves them with and without squeakers. For this dog, it's the best toy we've found. We can do a little tug of war with it, throw and fetch, and he's even copied various ways we squeak the toy. I don't know what your pup will think, but these seem the most safe, longest-lasting, most engaging toy he has. If we step on it by accident, he always comes running for some fun. Let us know if you have come up with a new game! We call one "Puppy Puzzle" where we bury it under various objects such as blankets, boxes, and find ways to squeak it when he can't quite find it. It's a daily ritual. We also like to be creative when we introduce new ones by hiding them, or mixing them in with older ones. For us, it is a family interactive toy. He loses interest faster when playing alone. Plus, because of its size and random bouncing directions, it often gets out of pup's reach under furniture or in spaces too small for him to get it himself. We like playing with our dog, so it works for us. We've tried other toys with similar sizes and appearances, but for whatever reason, this is the one that has become part of daily life, and there appears to be no boredom yet after 2 years. Love!
