MINI Maxx Pre-Loaded Tunes and Compatibility

The mini maxx V2 tuners come with tunes specifically designed for deleting DPF, DEF and EGR. It's an easy choice for anyone looking for a straightforward delete solution.

Please Note:

  • 2019-2021 RAM trucks have just one power level, but new tunes are coming. Currently limited to 20 PSI.
  • LML GM Duramax models don’t register boost levels. A fix is on the way.
  • Dual fuel tanks on Cab & Chassis are not supported.
  • LGH trucks are not supported.

What Does the Mini Maxx Tuner Do?

The Mini Maxx V2 boosts your truck’s performance by increasing power, torque, and fuel efficiency. With it, you can delete several emissions systems, including:

DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter):

The Mini Maxx lets you remove all components of the DPF system while disabling the related sensors and eliminating any check engine lights.

EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation):

It disables the EGR function and turns off any related DTCs. Whether you leave the EGR installed or use an EGR block kit, the Mini Maxx has you covered. No more leaks from the EGR!

DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid):

This tuner shuts off the urea injection system entirely, so you can remove the DEF tank and sensors, reducing the overall weight of your truck.

With the Mini Maxx, ULSD (Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel) becomes optional, allowing you to run high-sulfur diesel fuels if you prefer.

  • Important for 2018–2021 RAM Cummins owners: A bypass cable is required for installation. This cable is included in the box when you select the RAM Cummins (2018–2021) variant before adding the product to your cart.
  • Note: Stock pyro won’t work with the Mini Maxx V2. To monitor exhaust gas temperatures, you’ll need to install a BD Pyrometer kit 

MINI MAXX V2 Power Levels

The Mini Maxx V2 does not use fixed, published horsepower presets (such as “Mild / Wild / Hot”) like earlier versions. Instead, power output is controlled through vehicle-specific tuning files, allowing adjustable performance based on the selected tune, engine platform and supporting modifications.

Depending on application, Mini Maxx V2 tuning is commonly reported to provide moderate to high performance gains with increases typically ranging from approximately +50 HP up to +150 HP and in some cases higher when paired with advanced tuning configurations. Actual results vary by vehicle year, engine and calibration used.

The V2 platform emphasizes flexibility and customization rather than fixed power stages like the V1, allowing users to balance power, drivability and efficiency through selectable tuning options.


MINI MAXX V2 Install Instructions

Mini Maxx V2 – Short Installation Instructions

  1. Mount the Display
    Secure the Mini Maxx V2 screen on the dashboard or windshield where it is clearly visible and does not obstruct driving.
  2. Connect OBD-II Cable
    Plug the supplied OBD-II cable into the vehicle’s diagnostic port under the driver-side dash & run the provided HDMI cable from the OBD box to the tuner's HDMI port.
  3. Connect Power
    Connect the power harness to a key-on fuse source to have the Mini Maxx power on and off with ignition. Ensure a solid ground connection.
  4. Power On & Initial Setup
    Turn the key to ON (engine off). Follow on-screen prompts to select vehicle year, engine, transmission, and emissions status.
  5. Select Tune Level
    Choose the desired power level (Stock, 80 HP, 160 HP, or 250 HP if supported). Allow the tuner to download and flash files—do not interrupt.
  6. Restart Vehicle
    When prompted, turn the key off, then start the engine to complete installation.
  7. Set Gauges & Drive Mode
    Configure gauge displays and select Street, Tow, or Performance mode.

Important: Maintain stable battery voltage and never disconnect the tuner during flashing.

Great Chair, But Armrests Are a Nuisance
This ergonomic office chair has a lot going for it. The mesh back is comfortable and breathable, the adjustable lumbar support is excellent, and the 3D headrest is a welcome addition for long workdays. The rocking function is also a nice feature to have. Overall, the chair is very comfortable and supportive, and seems well-made with the SGS Class 4 gas cylinder. However, there's one glaring flaw that constantly annoys me: the armrests. While they are 3D adjustable, meaning they move up and down, forward and back, and side to side, there's no way to lock them in place. This means that every time I shift in my seat or even just slightly bump the armrest, it moves. It's incredibly frustrating to constantly be readjusting them. It disrupts my focus and makes it hard to find a truly comfortable and consistent position. If the armrests could be locked, this chair would be near perfect. As it stands, this one issue significantly detracts from the overall experience. If you're someone who fidgets or moves around a lot while sitting, I'd seriously consider whether you can live with armrests that constantly need readjustment. For me, it's a daily annoyance that makes me question whether I'd buy this chair again.
