OPTICAL PERFORMANCE

With an 12x magnification and minimum focus distance of 2.6m, you can bring subjects in closer and appreciate incredible detail whilst still maintaining a wide field of view. Enjoy the view even in challenging light as the 42mm objective lenses draw in the light required to continue superior optical performance.

A compact roof prism light path enables thin optical tubes for better handling and packing.

Along with a 71° apparent field of view that provides an immersive, panoramic experience of sweeping views. Allowing for comfortable movement of the binoculars as you observe the scene. Offering a 113m field of view at 1000m.

 

SHARP IMAGES

The Swarovski NL Pure 12x42 binoculars feature field-flattener lenses to reduce spherical aberration and edge distortion, as well as correcting off-axis comas and astigmatism. The HD Optical Systems features fluorite-containing glass that significantly reduces chromatic aberrations to optimise brightness.

To guarantee a crystal-clear field of view, Swarovski have used coatings on the lens’ and prisms. A SWAROBRIGHT mirror prism coating to enhance contrast and resolution; SWAROTOP lens coating that reflects glare to improve overall contrast; SWARODUR lens coatings to protect the lenses from scratches and marks, ensuring your view remains sharp.

DESIGNED FOR THE OUTDOORS

Built for the outdoors, Swarovski NL Pure 12x42 binoculars feature a lightweight but durable magnesium housing. The textured anti-slip green armour offers impact resistance and a firm grip during handling. Weighing only 840g, these binoculars are easy to use and transport.

The NL Pure binoculars are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed so they are fog proof and waterproof up to a depth of 13ft. This is beneficial when moving between extreme temperatures and conditions as the binoculars will be resistant to moisture and fogging. The NL Pure binoculars will continue to function in temperatures as high as +55°C and as low as -25°C.

 

COMFORTABLE HANDLING

These NL Pure binoculars offer the ultimate viewing experience by including many ergonomic features. A knurled focus wheel that is easy to use in varying temperatures, conditions, and when wearing gloves. As well as a short closed-bridge configuration that ensures stability for the internal focusing mechanism. A 56-74mm interpupillary adjustment accommodates for both adults and children, so everyone can enjoy observing all the beauty nature has to offer.

With the twist-up click-stop eye cups, made out of soft rubber, both non-glasses wearers and glasses wearers can adjust for comfortable viewing. The +4-dioptre adjustment assists those with individual eye prescriptions for precise focusing. The NL Pure 12x42 binoculars have an 18mm eye relief to assist strain-free long observation sessions. As well as a 3.5mm exit pupil which aids you in challenging light conditions to ensure the scene remains clear and sharp without vignetting.

The design is adorable and I love the little bones and paw prints they put on the tabs. They are easy to slide and the colors are bright and admirable. There is different difficulty levels. The yellow circles are more on the easy side. The red ones are a bit more harder if you have a more intelligent dog. The three white tabs in the middle move in a 360 circle, there is one missing so you can slide the red tab in to hide the treats. I use my dog's kibble as treats; the kibble pellets are 1cm in length and 1cm in width. I can fit about 2 pellets in each tab hole, there are 14 small holes which you can hide the treats in total. Cleaning the puzzle It depends if you wash it by hand or put it in the dishwasher. I do both but I prefer the dishwasher because it is a little hard to clean by hand since there is so many nooks and crannies on the toy. Of course, it is dishwasher safe and I recommend putting it in by itself because you don't want to cross-contaminate the dog slobber to be on your dishes. I wouldn't put crushed or wet dog food in it because it could get in the sliding rails and jam it up or get moldy. If you are going to dry the toy, open all the tabs so they are exposed. If you cannot, that's okay. My dog's opinion I have two dogs, a 2-year-old chocolate Labrador named Maggie and a 7-year-old labradoodle named Rufio, Maggie takes about 1 or 2 minutes to finish the puzzle because she is super energetic. Rufio takes 3 or 4 minutes because he is calmer; but sometimes I have to help him just a little bit. It is suitable for all dog ages and I recommend it if your dog (s) are annoying you. They both love it and I give it to them for mental stimulation and as a reward. The bottom has "non-slip pads", but if I'm being honest they actually don't work that well. My dogs just slide it around.

This Joansan Dog Puzzle Toy is exactly what I was looking for. My little MinPin is a worker and he likes having a job to do. So my little worker usually ends up picking it up and transporting it to different locations throughout the house. Obviously, individual results will vary, depending on size, personality, and breed of the dog using it, but it's been great for my lil guy. He gets a little physical and mental exercise. It's sturdy enough to withstand his scratching and chewing. My big dog likes it too. The size is perfect for food oriented cats too. My cat is too lazy to work for his food though. This feeder will surely make your dogs work for their food.

I recently tried this slow feeder (I purchased 2 feeders) for my two Corgis (25 & 30 lbs.). Overall, it’s a well-constructed product and definitely slows down eating as intended. The design encourages dogs to work for their food, which helps with digestion and keeps them engaged. That said, there are a couple of challenges I noticed. The kibble sometimes gets jammed in the sliding doors, which can make it harder for my pups to access the food. Also, the feeder doesn’t hold a large amount of kibble—I found myself needing to refill it 2–3 times per meal to accommodate both of my dogs. Finally, my pups had a tougher time reaching the kibble in the middle ring, which caused a bit of frustration. Despite these issues, it’s sturdy, safe, and does the job of slowing down fast eaters. I think it could work especially well for smaller dogs or those who eat less at mealtime.
