Designed to fill the voiding in the OE rubber mount, it smooths out gear changes and throttle application by stiffening and supporting the often perished rubber, a common failure on tuned vehicles. This provides a more precise and settled engine response during acceleration and deceleration. A small increase in NVH, typically at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. I have been wearing ASICS socks since forever! As a distance runner, I have worn many others from different companies, and I always come back! Also, i am not a fan of the invisible kind, and ASCIS seems to be the only ones to make the socks that are above the shoe, are durable, comfortable, I have no desire to look elsewhere. Thanks ASICS!
