The Miura solidified Lamborghini’s reputation as a true supercar manufacturer. Produced from 1966 to 1973, it underwent two major evolutions. The original P400 received an engine upgrade and a more refined interior in 1968, becoming the P400S. In 1971, further improvements in power, suspension, and widened rear fenders led to the final version—the P400SV. While each update enhanced comfort and handling, the early P400 captured the pure magnificence of Bertone’s original design. Kyosho’s 1/18 scale model faithfully recreates this essence with exceptional precision. Every detail is meticulously crafted, from the flowing silhouette to the mid-mounted, transversely positioned 4.0-liter V12 under the rear cowl. The front cowl houses the fuel tank and spare tire, while the interior showcases fine material textures. Signature features, like the pop-up headlights with distinctive ‘eyelash’ slits, are carefully designed, complete with functional opening mechanisms to offer an authentic Miura P400 experience in miniature form.
