A stunning and totally unique, Mid Century school laboratory cabinet.

A striking reclaimed school laboratory cabinet with beech carcass and contrasting Iroko top and drawer / doors. We rescued this beautiful piece from the science department in a School in Birmingham where it had been since the school was first built in the 1950s.
In excellent restored condition, the doors have been refitted with roller catches and fully functioning original drop bolts. We have added a solid Iroko top which was cut from the original laboratory top (originally there was a long run of these cabinets with one worktop)
The piece has a lovely patina, with lots of marks and scratches as to be expected for its age, this only enhances the character of the piece, please see photographs for more detail.
