Although not a huge commercial success, with only about 500 cameras produced, it was an innovative design, and helped point the way to modern 35mm cameras. --- This example, maybe a preseries or prototype camera is by far the most early number (no.3) known to exist with Krauss Tessar 4.5/28mm lenses nos.114425/26 (approx 1916) It is different to later cameras, it has other features on the top plate, the the brass parts are not nickeled and has no leather covering. It is in fantastic condition with the original brown leather case, film spools, tripod adapter and the beautiful mahogany Homeos stereo viewer. It's one of the earliest cameras using the 35mm cine film. --- A- --- 1920 --- 3 --- Die Homeos-Stereokamera war eine der ersten Kleinbildkameras überhaupt und ein Vorläufer der Leica. Die Kamera unterscheidet sich von späteren Modellen. Es gibt Unterschiede auf der Deckkappe und sie hat keinen Lederbezug. Die Messingteile sind nicht vernickelt, wie bei den bekannten Kameras. Das Set in einem fantastischen Zustand mit dem originalen braunen Lederkoffer, Filmspulen, Stativadapter und dem schönen Mahagoni-Homeos-Stereobetrachter. Es ist eine der frühesten Kameras, die den 35mm perforierten Film verwenden.
