Ohaus Defender 5000 multifunctional bench scale is ideal for a multitude of applications, including production, packaging, inventory and shipping. Ruggedly constructed with a stainless steel platform, and your choice of an ABS or stainless steel indicator and two profiles - low profile or column mount. Includes advanced features such as maximum configurability print output, GMP/GLP data output, library/ user management, and multiple connectivity options.
Simple operation with SmarText 3.0 interface that guides the user with on-screen prompts on the large, backlit display. Features a high storage capacity - supports 50,000 item library and 1,000 user profiles which can be downloaded/uploaded for easy set-up with the included Micro SD Card. Equipped with GLP/GMP output capability with time/date for result traceability. Multiple connectivity options allow data output via built-in RS232 or optional interfaces including 2nd RS232/RS485/USB device, Ethernet, Bluetooth/WiFi, Analog Output and Discrete I/O with relays. Alibi memory available.

Can opener
It doesn't shut off by itself when done and doesn't shut off when I push the button, so after a while it will shut off but when it wants too after you take it off the can ,like 30 seconds. But I do like the way it cuts, a clean cut and lid removal nice.

So simple to use, I'm amazed

Wonderfully helpful. Description is accurate, shipping was quick. I saw a few poor comments, but I have none so far! The can opener has opened cans of several sizes, from tomato paste to large cans of tomatoes; soup cans to strangely shaped. It's opened 30 or so already without loss of power. It's a little noisy, but about equal to that of a stand up opener. It fits in my drawer, which is less deep than most kitchen drawers. Most of all, it's beyond easy to use for arthritic hands. The ONLY CHALLENGE I have is that it sometimes fails to stop when it should. MANUFACTURER: if you read this and have advice, please share.
At this point, I'd say this is a great value for the money.

Pleased be careful
Color: Black
Please be very careful when using this. After using it 2 times it opened cans just fine. Then it stop opening cans and will make hair like strains of metals and one would think its hair and pull on it thus Cutting your fingers open. That’s what happened to me. Please be careful.

Quit working after 30 days

This can opener worked fine for the first couple of weeks. It stopped working several days ago and even though I had recharged it, it would not turn on. I thought I would give it another try before I threw it away since I was past the refund period so I could not return it. I made 100% sure that it was plugged in securely and it did charge and worked today. Make sure that it is plugged in securely when charging. Hopefully it will continue to work and if not I will update my review.
