They are both brought into the winery and destemmed and fermented in open fermenters. Both are plunged daily and fermented on skins till near dryness where they are pressed off. At the conclusion of ferment they are transferred to French Oak. The Pinot Noir portion for the TemPinot comes from older oak while the Tempranillo only uses old oak to not dominate.

The Winemaker Series pay homage to this historic connection, with the wines named in honour of beloved family members. Swinging Bridge is a James Halliday 5 Star Rated Winery.
