With Michael Monroe's vocals blazing their unique trail across catchy, low-slung guitars and a range of exciting glamorous hooks and melodies, One Man Gang is old-school strut with rudely fresh vigor. From the title-track's bombastic bar-room blitz to the cocky lipstick-punk riffs of "Junk Planet," Monroe is on a mission to claim what should've been his decades ago. "Hollywood Paranoia" is supremely sticky, "Wasted Years" is whiskey-soaked boulevards with a slice of harmonica and there's even some straight out hard 'n' fast head-banging to be heard in "Black Ties And Red Tape," complete with rip-roaring guitars courtesy of Rich Jones and Steve Cote. Recorded at E-Studio in Sipoo, Finland and produced by Monroe, Jones and Cote One Man Gang is going to smash down doors and reinvigorate the rock 'n' roll scene, with Monroe striding back towards the arenas he was born to be in. Eh. I mean, it was warm… but it trapped moisture from me breathing into it, so then it was like wet… which wasn’t ideal. Didn’t stay up on my nose super well. I had to tuck it into my goggles. Easy to wash. Decently soft. Feel like it wasn’t exactly worth the money I spent, but I know it is real wool, so that comes with a price tag. I don’t know…I really didn’t like the water / moisture getting trapped around my mouth and chin and what not. Just causing skin breakout issues. Helped cut the cold wind, but I feel like it could be better, or like there are better options out there maybe. Maybe not meant for snowboarding or exercising, so you’re not breathing as hard into it. Maybe it’s just meant for walking around with it around your neck. I don’t know.

Not very itchy, easy to put in your pocket and warm

I wore turtle fur for a long time and liked it except that it's too big to fit in my pocket. This wool product has really impressed me so far. It doesn't have a zero itch rating but it is very soft. It's surprisingly warm for its weight. Fits easily in my coat pockets. It's comfortable, fits well on both my neck and face as it has some stretch to it. It had a smell when I first opened the package but that went away after a couple of days. I wore it around my neck in 20F and was warm. I would say that using it as a face mask at that temperature would be pushing its limits. I find it to be a good balance between size and warmth for the Kentucky tri-state area in a mild winter. Because of it's size you can easily put a layer over it during extreme cold and it would be well worth the space it takes in your pocket

Too Short

I like the material and construction; it's soft and thick. It is warm and is effective at temperatures in the teens and winds around 30 mph. The thickness of the material helps prevent my breath from instantly condensing and moistening the fabric. I never got the "wet dog" smell wet wool is known for. Its fit is a little tight but not prohibitively so. The color matches that of the beanie. It's too sort to be considered versatile. In wind I had to choose between shielding my neck or my face. I HIGHLY recommend you not machine wash and dry. Hand wash it and let it dry naturally.
