The lyrics also talk about silence in a vacuum, which inspired me to find a pulp paperback science-fiction novel featuring a space suit, space helmet visual - space being the place where no-one can hear you scream - and this wonderfully cheesy cover somehow fits the misanthropic last line of the song.
