Combining Sandinista-esque experimentation with modern alternative rock might be something that scares away the leather and spike crowd but that's only if you've been pretending The Clash didn't write some of the best rock 'n' roll songs the world ever knew. A merging of classic UK punk with some modern aesthetics manage to create a sound that is a welcome American take on classic UK punk. They're even bold enough to exploit the reggae influence that was moving through bands like the aforementioned [The Clash] and Stiff Little Fingers. This new 12-inch catches you up by repackaging the 7-inches with a set of new tracks including a Sex Pistols and Billy Bragg cover. The influences are worn on their sleeve and brings to mind the kind of bands that would have gotten me into punk in the first place. It's accessible but still smart and still aggressive. The vocals sound like they're crooned from a ghost lamenting a wasted life or shouted like Malcolm Owen knew he'd die young. If you were a fan of those Libertines / Dirty Pretty Things albums you'll find something here to chew on. Likewise, if those Sievehead records were a breath of fresh air for you, this might be the band you've been waiting for.

Great choice

After I suffered a second-degree burn from steam, I was told by my doctor that I would have to keep my new fresh skin sun-blocked for up to a year to avoid any scarring or hyper pigmentation. This has been a great selection as it is a roll-on, Which helps a lot with preventing messes that can happen with traditional sunblock bottles. I also like that it is easy to travel with, and the fact that it is zinc based.

My favorite new mineral sunscreen!

This is my favorite new mineral sunscreen! I've been searching for years for a product that is easy to apply, not messy, and doesn't show up too white. This roll-on is the perfect solution. I keep it near the front door and quickly roll the sunscreen on my hands, arms, and chest before leaving the house. The sunscreen applies so quickly and uniformly-- there are no bare spots or messy globs to rub in. Also, the roll-on keeps the sunscreen from oozing out of the tube and getting all over everything. Finally, the roll-on method also eliminates the frustration of having half-filled tubes and pumps where you can't even access the sunscreen when the tube gets low. Here's hoping this doesn't happen with the roll-on. Thank you Sun Bum for creating this wonderful product. I also love the reasonable price.
