The Key Digital 4x1 4K/18G HDMI Switcher is a high-performance, four-input HDMI switcher with analog and digital audio de-embedding, auto switching, and app-ready controllability. Designed for professional AV installations in conference rooms, huddle spaces, classrooms, theater, and gaming spaces, it enables four HDMI inputs of up to DCI 4K30 12-bit 4:4:4 or DCI 4K60 8-bit 4:4:4 video to connect to a single display. Analog (3.5mm and balanced/unbalanced) and digital (optical and PCM) audio de-embed ports may feed audio of the selected source to an amplifier, a DSP, or a soundbar.

Integrating this 4x1 4K/18G HDMI Switcher with the Key Digital KD-AMP220 2-Channel Compact Digital Amplifier will enable an app-ready, all-in-one solution for control of video switching with sound and speech enforcement. The full buffer system manages TMDS re-clocking/signal regeneration, HDCP authentication to source and display, and EDID control handshake. The switcher supports a variety of lossless compressed digital audio formats, including Dolby and DTS. This switcher supports all SD, HD, VESA, UHD 4K, and DCI 4K video standards, with support for a maximum data transfer rate of 18 Gb/s. In addition to IR, RS-232, and TCP/IP control, this switcher can be controlled via trigger voltage and features status-monitoring LEDs.

Supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) levels for more lifelike images through a greater range of luminance levels.

Supports all SD, HD, and VESA (VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA, SXGA, and UXGA) up to 4096 x 2160.

Deep Color Support
Support for up to UHD 4K30 Hz 4:4:4 12-bit or UHD 4K60 4:4:4 8-bit.

Audio De-embedding
Audio of the selected HDMI input is de-embedded and output to the analog (3.5mm stereo balanced/unbalanced) and digital (optical and PCM) connectors.

Key Digital App Ready
Scan and detect population for pre-built GUI and TCP/IP control via the Key Digital app.

Auto-Sensing
Automatic selection of newly detected source and switching from newly disconnected source via hot plug detection voltage when enabled.

KD-AMP220 Control Mode
Command forward to the Key Digital KD-AMP220 2-Channel Compact Digital Amplifier for an all-in-one UI control of video switching, audio, and speech enforcement.

Full Buffer System
Manages TMDS reclocking/signal regeneration, HDCP authentication to source and display, and EDID control handshake.

PTZ USB Camera Integration
Connect to the Key Digital KD-CAMUSB 1080p PTZ camera for full PTZ control via the Key Digital app and the KD-XUSB2 USB extender for signal extension over Cat 5e/6.

EDID Management
Internal library with 15 internal EDID handshakes in addition to native EDID data copied from the output/display.

Lossless Compressed Digital Audio
Supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby Atmos.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
