The Lone Tree was made at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park on an morning when the sky wasn't cooperating. The clouds had moved in thick, and I thought there was no hope for any color, and then a narrow break let through just enough warm light to paint a single reflection across the water. One tree, one reflection, one quiet moment in an otherwise grey morning. The images that ask the least of the conditions are often the ones that stay with you longest.
This is a limited edition Master Collection fine art landscape photography print, available on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm cotton rag paper and as an acrylic face mount, the same archival standards used by fine art galleries worldwide. Produced in a strictly limited run, hand-signed and numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Once the edition sells out, it will not be reprinted.
