These are a part of the exclusive anti-whoops feature on all Endura Flap patio and sash window pet doors. The extension is also compatible with Dragon and Whiskers & Windows brand aluminum panels.

You mismeasured! Now you have to send the pet door back for the correct size. Not so fast! If you purchased a Thermo Panel or Thermo Sash you might be able to salvage the situation by using the "anti-whoops" feature:

• To make your panel 3/4" taller or your sash 3/4" wider, you may purchase an extension (or create your own using a 1" thick piece of wood painted to match).
• To make your panel slightly shorter or sash narrower, you may trim the U-Shaped flange up to 3/4" with a metal hacksaw.

If you need a substantially higher or shorter panel that doesn't fall into the standard Patio Pacific height adjustment ranges, then you may purchase a custom height Endura Flap‚ Sliding Glass Pet Door.
