Skytear is a card-driven miniatures game, inspired by MOBA video games like League of Legends. Draft your team of heroes from up to 24 champions, then use their unique skills and ultimate abilities to lead your minions to the enemy Nexus. When it falls victory will be yours.
But be warned, your opponent may have drafted heroes strong against your strategy. The Outsider, a huge elemental made from violent energy, will be turned against you if you do not claim it, and your opponents’ Power Cards and attacks will threaten to overcome you.
Stay adaptable and your chances of victory will rise. Skytear’s alternating victory conditions and diceless system rewards player choice; the Power Card system allows instant reactions even in the opponent's turn, as well as allowing for combo’s of special abilities capable of turning the course of the game.
With one new expansion per quarter, a dynamic deck-building system, and strong support to the organised play scene, Skytear is designed to be the ultimate competitive miniatures game.
Starter box contents
The starter box includes everything you need to play with 2 to 4 players:
- 8 unique hero miniatures
- 16 minion miniatures
- 1 monster miniature
- 1 two-sided board
- 84 cards
The Starter Box contains 8 unique heroes, two for each faction, allowing you to get a taste of each of the diverse playstyles of Skytear. Once you find your favourite, the Faction Expansion Boxes will allow you to easily complete it, letting you specialise as much as you wish.
All miniatures come unpainted and pre-assembled, with a plastic trays to safely store and transport them to the events organised by your local friendly game store.
