Southern soul singer Z.Z. Hill was Kent/Modern's main artist in the latter half of the 60s. In 1967 the company recorded him on an LP of soul classics and rightly chose Bettye Swann's hit from only a few months before as one of the tracks. The label may have missed a commercial trick as his male-angle on the marvellous song gave it a new dimension and would surely have fared well as a 45. The UK licensors Action Records spotted the song's potential and it was well received, although the much smaller UK soul market of the time could rarely achieve big sales. Since it's release more soul fans have become aware of it's quality and at last it is available again for discerning collectors. Peggy Woods' classic Northern Soul stomper was first on 45 in 1988 as a 100 Club anniversary single. With only approximately 400 pressed it was inevitable this and other such singles would become sought-after. Here is Peggy in her original glory singing her Kent/Modern masterpiece.

Slight odor, more flexible than I expected

These looked like they were going to be heavy duty, but they were more flexible than I expected (see video clip). They probably still will work well, but if you’re poking your fork into something stiff, expect that the fork might bend some.
There was a slight chemical odor when I opened the package, and I’m not a fan of that. As someone with MCS, I have to avoid exposure to fragrances and other harmful chemicals, and it makes me wonder what these are coated with. The gold might be cute for the aesthetic you’re going for with a particular gathering or party, but I find it unnecessary.
I would rather go with the real heavy duty ones that are clear plastic from a club warehouse rather than these gold ones. I feel that these are overpriced for the quality, but not a bad price if all you’re going for is the gold aesthetic.

Nice, high end look, disposable

I hate to spend a lot of money on something that's just going to be thrown away, so typically buy dollar store disposable silverware for parties and gatherings. But every once in a while, you want something more upscale or high end looking. Enter this pricy but pretty plastic silverware. It is perfect for a wedding, anniversary, shower or other event where you want a nicer look instead of basic.
It is sturdy. You won't have to worry about it breaking as someone spears a bite of chicken. It looks great! There's only so much you can do with plastic ware but for what it is, it looks really nice.

Great value for very sturdy, leak free plates

Really like these plates! They had the best price per plate & come in a large quantity which is a huge plus for me.
We use them to feed our cats wet food & sometimes water & the liquids have never leaked through the plates
They are the perfect size for feeding, 1 plate will easily hold a can of cat food.
They are very sturdy & don't slide across the floor while the cats are eating off them.
