A lovely and very extensive grouping of original paperwork and documents, as well as over 180 photographs. The group belongs to Ralph R Auten of North Carolina, who served as an armourer with the 850th Bombardment Squadron, part of the 490th Bomb Group which flew out of RAF Eye in Suffolk. He served in England between October 1943 and December 1945.

Grouping comprises;

  1. Medal bar of EAME with two Campaign Stars (one silver, one bronze - denoting six in total), and Good Conduct Medal, a DUC and for some reason, a 3rd Army patch.
  2. A number of reprinted A4 size photographs, one being original and looks like it may be reunion photograph, probably 1950s.
  3. "Around the Marble Arch" booklet, purchased on leave in London.
  4. A subway map of Paris.
  5. A flyer for the Allied Expeditionary Force Club.
  6. Qualification, enlistment and discharge documentation, all original as well as a number of other RESTRICTED marked papers.
  7. A number of weekend passes, including from Paris.
  8. The absolute jewel of the grouping though, is the photo collection, comprising around 180 photographs, mostly around 3"x4" in size. A few duplicates but most are unique. Some post war holiday snaps and pre-deployment training but the majority are taken on-base. Show barracks blocks, aircraft (B-17, B-24 and P-51s), some local scenery, technical sites and group photos. Some taken on leave, one clearly in Trafalgar Square, feeding the pigeons with three British soldiers.

The post war photographs show Ralph's wife and young family. Ralph sadly passed away in February 1962.

Exactly what they say it is.
Size: 72"W x 72"L (Pack of 1), Color: 1b. Clear-heavy
Appears to work exactly as advertised, and quality is very satisfactory, which is always a pleasant surprise on Amazon. Magnets are strong enough, plastic feels pliable and durable. Don't forget the rings aren't included.

Is a perfect liner. It’s not super thick or heavy. Easy to hang.

Good shower liner
Size: 72"W x 72"L (Pack of 1), Color: 1a. Clear
Actually works! No soap scum or mildew. I have had this shower curtain up since December and all I do is rinse it off. No soap scum. Good item. Good value.

Too lightweight and flimsy, but it does the job
Size: 72"W x 72"L (Pack of 1), Color: 1a. Clear
This shower liner works as expected, but it is a bit lightweight, and will drift around in the shower. I will look at getting a more heavy duty one in the future. This one has the 3 magnets, and that isn't enough. I would recommend getting one with double the magnets and a thicker plastic. I went cheap and regret it slightly, but at least these things are made to be disposable. Other than that, the durability seems good, and it looks and feels like you would expect, but as stated, the plastic is flimsy and flutters around. Seems fairly mold resistant vs other liners I've used from the store (like cheaper Walmart ones etc).

Keeps clothes on!
Color: Black, Size: Pack of 30
These hangers are fantastic! They save so much closet space, keep clothes from slipping, and feel sturdy and durable. Great quality for the price and make the closet look neat and organized!
