This is Jay Denham's third full-length release for the Disko B label. The Munich-based Kalamazoo-bred producer has releases on labels like Transmat, Tresor and on his own Black Nation imprint, developing a distinct style using the best of both worlds from house and techno. Denham is a major part of the second Detroit techno generation, and the Truth is a warm and groovy album. After his debut Escape to the Black Planet (1998) and the follow-up Synthesized Society (1999), Denham is once again pushing his music: black futuristic, Techno-House: one step further into another funky Techno-Soul direction. On his last album, Denham used vocals to explore new territories: on the Truth they have become an integral part of his music. Nine moving tracks turn your legs into spaghetti and make every techno heart beat a little faster. The cover is a photorealistic painting by the famous Munich artist, Florian Süßmayr. Like parts of the picture which make up the whole, this recording shows Jay's diversity in music other then the "banging techno" he is known for. Works Great but the price is rising!
Anua Azelaic Acid is a very good serum. Both my daughter and I use it regularly. My daughter has severe rosacea, and this has helped calm her skin significantly her redness is almost gone. For me, it has also made a noticeable difference by reducing redness and giving my skin a healthy glow. We both use it at night, and it’s definitely very soothing and calming. The formula is gentle, lightweight, and works really well for sensitive skin without causing irritation.
However, the only downside is the price, it seems to have increased quite a bit recently, which is concerning. I bought a couple during Amazon Prime Day, which worked out really well. For a relatively simple azelaic acid serum, the price increase feels a bit steep.
If the price continues to rise, I may need to look for a more budget-friendly alternative. Otherwise, it’s a really great serum that delivers great results.

I am obsessed with this product!! This feels very luxurious on my skin and does not pill like other products I have had in the past. I have noticed a significant improvement in the background redness in my skin. As someone who works in derm and values good ingredients and products that actually work... I can confidently say that this is the best OTC azelaic acid product I have tried out. It sits very nicely under my moisturizer and does not dehydrate my skin like other azelaic acid products have done in the past. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A Game Changer for Sensitive Skin
I use this serum every single day, and it has become one of the most important products in my skincare routine. I have very sensitive skin and cannot tolerate stronger active ingredients such as retinol or high-strength acids, so finding something effective but gentle has been incredibly important.

Perfect for Acne-Prone Skin!
This serum has honestly been a great addition to my routine for redness and post-acne marks. The texture is lightweight, hydrating, and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on my oily/acne-prone skin.
I have sensitive skin with a focus on barrier protection, and this didn’t irritate my skin at all. It layers beautifully with the rest of my skincare and leaves my skin looking calmer and smoother over time. AND, it doesn’t have a smell!!

6-Month Update: Still a staple for sensitive, acne-prone skin

I originally reviewed this ampoule when I first started using it, and now after about six months of consistent use (morning and night), I feel confident giving a more long-term update.
I have sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin, and this has remained one of the most reliable products in my routine. The texture is still one of my favorite things about it — very lightweight, absorbs quickly, and layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen without pilling.
Over time, I’ve noticed:
Less visible redness
More balanced oil production in my T-zone
Fewer irritation flare-ups when introducing new products
No clogged pores or breakouts from this formula
It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, even in humid weather. I’ve continued repurchasing and even keep it on subscription because it consistently performs without causing sensitivity.
