The V-Bar Aero is the convenient and aerodynamic system for carrying composite kayaks.

This version of the V-bar boasts quick and easy removable ends, just depress the spring clip at the base of the V end, slot through the square at each end of the lightweight aluminium bar, the pin releases and locks the V securely in place, ready to cradle your kayak.

With quick release detachable V ends, this means you can leave the 7ft bar on your car as a permanent fixture, saving you precious minutes every time you need to transport your kayak.

The kit comes with two standard U-Bolts or T-Track Bolts to secure it firmly to your car/van roofbars. Two bungees are provided to hold your kayak safely in the V’s by looping over the pegs on the V ends. It is advisable that one rigid strap (or rope) also be loosely fastened around the centre of the boat, to safeguard against the rare occasion where the boat may be lifted in strong winds.

- Standard V: approx 90 degrees with a length of 12inches
- Shallow V': approx 120 degrees with a length of 12 inches.

Generally, boats with a stability of 6 or higher will benefit from one shallow V at the rear. Stability 10 K2 racing boats may need two shallow Vs. Note that very wide touring-style boats will not be suitable for this racking system.

Equipment provided: one bar, V ends, two standard bolts and two bungees.

Bar Dimensions 7ft x 1.5in square profile.

Due to the length of these bars, they must be shipped as an oversize parcel. For delivery please select the UK Delivery shipping option. If you would prefer to collect the bars from us or from an even we are attending, please choose the collection shipping option. We are not able to deliver these bars internationally at present.
