This is a significant historical volume of the Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS) series, focusing entirely on China in 1943. Published in 1957, this book contains primary source documents, telegrams, and memos detailing U.S.-China relations during the height of World War II.
This particular copy features a unique personal provenance: it contains a red name stamp and elegant Chinese calligraphy on the first page belonging to the "Collection of Ma Yeh-Shiang," dated July 1970.
Condition Report
This volume is in Good condition and is a solid "reference" copy.

Binding: The original maroon buckram cloth is strong. The gold gilt on the spine remains visible and the binding is tight.

Exterior: No dust jacket. There is some visible water staining/spotting on the front and back covers (see photos), but it does not affect the structural integrity of the boards.
