This is all thanks to Husqvarna's LowVib technology, which is essentially the strategic positioning of anti-vibration dampeners between the petrol engine and body of the hedge trimmer, meaning vibration is isolated to the engine and not transferred to the body and handles of the machine.

Further ease-of-use features include SmartStart easy engine start-up because although this 122HD45 is a domestic-use hedge trimmer, starting a petrol engine can tend to be tricky at times. SmartStart works by reducing resistance in the starter pull cold by up to 40% meaning the operator can pull the startup cord with less strength and speed. This feature is paired with a handy fuel pump and auto return stop switch, which automatically returns to the ON position when the motor is turned off, allowing for less button fiddling before start-up.
