Vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. 2016 release from the hard rock supergroup. With five Grammy nominations and two wins; Golden Gods, Kerrang! And VH1 awards; headlining slots in many major festivals and countless Top 10 albums and singles, the members of Giraffe Tongue Orchestra are ready to re-write the rules of the successful rock supergroup. Comprised of William DuVall of Alice In Chains, Ben Weinman of Dillinger Escape Plan, Brent Hinds of Mastodon, Pete Griffin of Dethklok and Thomas Pridgen of The Mars Volta, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra has created an album akin to classic cinema. The name itself represents strength and ingenuity per guitarist, Brent Hinds, "During the time Mastodon was there for Soundwave, I was at the zoo in Sydney, Australia and was checking out the giraffes. They are amazing animals - one just grabbed a bunch of bananas from my hand with it's tongue and peeled them with it as well - by the time the bananas got to it's mouth, they were ready to be eaten. I saw Ben who was at Soundwave too and said 'Man I think I found the name for our band,' and told him the story." Ben adds "That giraffe made it happen... like us, he figured it out."

Would buy again

Puppy loves this ball. She managed to tear the fuzzy part open fairly quickly but once it was all the way torn the ball inside that makes the noise is as pictured and she can still play with it regardless of the fuzzy part being taken off. Easy to keep track of as it's a tad bigger than a softball. Puppy loves it and it keeps her entertained.

Great turned to not so great
My Doberman (80 pounds in 7 months) puppy absolutely loved this ball. He loves anything noise making so this ball was perfect. Unfortunately, about 2 hours of nonstop play the cover was falling apart. There was no saving in. My pup is rough on toys and this one couldn’t handle it. I let him play without the cover for a little bit but the plastic is VERY hard. I’m not sure what type of plastic it is, but it’s very hard, no your average plastic. It was clunking around and banging into everything possible. I would love to give it more stars as it might have been perfect for other dogs, or maybe I just got a dud. But having to take the ball away from him was almost heart breaking. Those sad puppy dog ever and him looking everywhere for it. Barking nonstop because, well he want his ball….and being a puppy he is still learning. Had the cover held up for even 24 hours it would have been great. So I have a sad puppy and a lighter pocketbook. It was fun while it lasted.

Lasted less than a week.
Size: Small Size
This ball was delivered on March 7. It was fun while it lasted, but Today, less than one week later, the squeaker which was the unique fun part of this ball, is dead. The ball is still intact, the soft cover still on it, so our corgi never got to the squeaker - it just stopped making sound. Given the point of this ball is to engage a dog to chase after like it was squealing prey, the death of the squeaker is very disappointing.
