The attractive locket (circa 1870-1890) is black enamel and accented with a rose cut diamond star. The locket is unmarked, but acid tests for 14k gold and it opens and closes securely. It has an original photo frame with glass and the enamel is engraved on the interior with the Roman numeral 8.
The locket is in good condition; however, there is a small chip to the surface of the enamel on the front left near the hinge and on the reverse right near the same hinge.
The locket measures 1 inch from top to bottom by 0.75 inches wide, and we are providing the option to purchase it with or without the 19 inch 14k gold chain depicted in the photos.
